Migrate account to another instance

To move the data to the different instance (e.g. from US to CA) your account will need to be subscribed to a paid tier and in good standing.  If you have a Trial or Personal tier account, please simply create a new account on the desired instance (CA in this example), and delete your old account (on the US instance in this example).

The regional instances are completely separate and have differing reporting addresses, so the migration will require you to update all of your DMARC records.  For subscribed accounts, please get in touch with your billing contact (could be a salesperson, a partner organization that helped you, or billing@dmarcian.com) to coordinate moving the listing in our billing records. They'll make sure you don't have to pay for two accounts at the same time.

Trial and Free, follow steps 1-3,5,6

  1. create a new account on the NEW instance
  2. Add your domain(s) there
  3. update your domain DMARC records to point only to the new instance
  4. For subscribed accounts: Email support and let them know that this is entirely complete, and then we will migrate all of your old XML data within a few days to a couple weeks (If you do not need the historical data migrated, please let us know). If billing is with us we will update those details at the same time, or you will need to get in touch with whoever you purchased your subscription from.
  5. You will need to recreate users, access controls, preferences, reports, alerts, and any Domain Groups or reporting configurations.
  6. Once you are satisfied you should log in to the old account and use the account deletion functionality.

Until the migration is complete we can keep both accounts active so that you can retain full data access if you need.
